Connected performance with the AXS sensor
Zipp equips the 303 SW rim with the internally integrated Zipp AXS Wheel Sensor. This system analyzes and monitors tire pressure in real time, helping optimize performance in a variety of riding environments. Before each ride, a green light indicates whether the pressure is adequate. While riding, the rider can monitor pressure changes to adjust settings or detect problems quickly.
Aerodynamic and comfortable design
The 40mm deep rim profile is inspired by the Zipp 303 XPLR gravel model. It adopts a wide shape, designed to improve aerodynamics while reducing rolling resistance. This design promotes a smooth transition between the rim and wider tires, optimizing speed and comfort on rough or uneven roads.
Thanks to reduced tire deformation and better vibration absorption, this rim-tire system limits rider fatigue. The combination of a larger tire, lower pressure, and increased air volume allows for a smoother and more efficient ride.
Improved robustness and modern compatibility
The Zipp 303 SW wheels ‘ carbon structure has been reworked to improve impact resistance by nearly 10%, while maintaining a low weight. The model is optimized for 30-35mm tires. The rim shape effectively protects the tires in the event of an impact that could cause a pinch flat.
The ZR1 hub, positioned in the center of the wheels, is now equipped with stainless steel bearings for increased durability and a smoother ride.

- Slowly flashing red light: Low pressure detected. It may be time to reinflate a little.
- Fast flashing red light: Pressure too high detected. Consider releasing some air.
