The BMC SM01 MOD VAR0 2026-2027 is a high-performance triathlon platform designed for a fully customized build. Conceived primarily around the athlete, this aerodynamic frame is developed to optimize position, stability, and the ability to maintain high speed over long distances.

The Speedmachine 01 is based on a core principle: a triathlete is only fast if they can maintain a consistently aerodynamic position. Designed as BMC ‘s fastest triathlon frame, it was developed in collaboration with Red Bull Advanced Technologies to combine advanced aerodynamics with a wide range of adjustability to suit the needs of each athlete.

This module includes the frame, fork, integrated storage compartments, seatpost, and BMC Speedmachine Flat cockpit. It comes equipped with Profile Design Aeria 3 Ultimate Ergo+ elbow pads and SLC extensions, leaving the rest of the build fully customizable.

The 01 Premium Carbon layup ensures high stiffness for efficient power transfer, while also providing precise and stable steering to maintain an efficient aerodynamic position for longer. The raw carbon finish with easily removable decals also allows for frame customization, either with a bespoke paint job or by retaining the raw carbon look.

The Speedmachine was designed as a complete aerodynamic system integrating both the bike and the athlete. This approach optimizes the entire system without compromising the stiffness or weight necessary for efficient power transfer.

Stability is ensured by specific tube profiles and a steering geometry designed to offer predictable handling in a variety of conditions, including crosswinds, tight corners, and technical descents. This triathlon bike thus maintains stability comparable to that of a road bike.

The completely redesigned cockpit allows for fine-tuning the rider’s position thanks to a wide range of adjustments, extensions, and base bars. It also facilitates travel and maintenance while maintaining a high level of performance.

Advanced integration of storage systems allows easy access to hydration, nutrition and tools during long rides, while maintaining an optimized aerodynamic configuration.
